Highlights for Glasgow's Book Festival for Children and Young People in 2016 include 'The Science of Star Wars', a high energy session for all the family where we invite you to visit a galaxy far far away together with 'The Science of Doctor Who' – are you prepared to be transported to a world of Cybermen and Daleks? We will also celebrate the centenary of master storyteller Roald Dahl where we are talking giant peaches, witches, beasties and Scrumdiddlyumptious bars!

Sharks in the park, Elves and other tall tales

Join illustrator Nick Sharrat for drawing, plenty of inventive word play and an abundance of silliness as he presents his latest book 'Shark in the Park on a Windy Day'. Be sure not to miss the interactive art and music bonanza of Debi Gliori’s 'Crocadiamond' – listen, create, join in! If you’ve still got room left for more imaginative fun a visit to Faerie Glen is an absolute must where Jasper the Elf invites you to the enchanted forest for storytelling and games sprinkled with just the right amount of magic dust!

Dressing up welcome. Snozzcumbers, lightsabers, sonic screwdrivers and fairy costumes at the ready!
