A joint event with the Centre for Confidence and Well-being. Recent UNICEF research shows that, out of 21 wealthy countries, British children have the worst well-being. Dr Agnes Nairn’s research suggests there is some link to the UK’s pronounced inequality and materialistic culture. Centre CEO, Carol Craig, will explain why materialistic values have become so dominant. Chaired by Public Health professor, Phil Hanlon. ​
