Hugh MacDiarmid and Scottish Literature

More than thirty years after his death, Hugh MacDiarmid remains a colossal and controversial figure, central to modern Scottish literature and political thinking. What relevance do MacDiarmid, and Scots, have in the twenty-first century? Speakers include Lesley Duncan, Janet Paisley, Scott Lyall, John Manson and Rab Wilson.
