Tim Blott is President of the Scottish Daily Newspaper Society and Managing Director of Herald & Times Group. He is also a Director of parent UK company Newsquest Media Group, part of US-owned Gannett (the largest newspaper publisher in America). Tim took over the helm of the Herald & Times in April 2003 when Newsquest bought it from Scottish Media Group for £216m. As well as the leading Scottish newspapers, the Herald & Times also incorporates a magazine business, a large printing business at Cambuslang and the highly-successful internet company, s1. Tim, a former journalist and editor, is married with three children.
