Natalie Russell was born in Dundee in 1972 and has lived and worked their ever since. She studied Illustration and Printmaking at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design, graduating in 1996 with a first class honours degree, and returned to Dundee University in 1998 to complete the Master of Design Degree. In 1999, Natalie started work at Dundee Contemporary Arts Print Studio where she researched and taught Contemporary Print, and worked extensively with schools, college, community groups, families and individual members of the public for DCA Community and Education Programme. Natalie has co-ordinated and delivered a comprehensive programme of workshops aiming to infuse awareness and help promote an understanding of contemporary print, concepts and ideas. Natalie still works as Education Co-Ordinator for DCA Print Studio and teaches illustration and printmaking at Duncan of Jordanstone and Edinburgh College of Art. She has been a visiting illustrator at the Edinburgh International Book Festival and Scottish Book's Words on Wheels Tour in Scotland. Bibliography: Hamish the Highland Cow, Home Sweet Hamish.
