Donny O'Rourke has had overlapping careers as poet, journalist, broadcaster, university teacher and filmmaker. A graduate of the universities of Glasgow and Cambridge and the holder of several fellowships and professorships both at home and overseas, Donny O'Rourke's many books as author or editor include Dream State, the New Scottish Poets and The Cleft In My Heart, his latest collection, a book written in, and about, Santa Fe. Donny is also a much lauded songwriter and Blame Yesterday, a suite of show tune lyrics, will appear in time for Aye Write! Donny lives in Glasgow's West End.
